Our Goodrich paraprofessionals, through both their words and their actions, continue to inspire our Goodrich students to go further and do better for themselves! Today we are celebrating Mrs. Pond's college ring ceremony, indicating that she has advanced to the "upper class" in her pursuit of her university degree. Meanwhile, at a neighboring university, a bachelor's degree has been conferred upon Mrs. Reyes. Congratulations to these two hard-working ladies! Way to represent Goodrich! ¡Nuestros paraprofesionales de Goodrich, tanto a través de sus palabras como de sus acciones, continúan inspirando a nuestros estudiantes de Goodrich a ir más allá y hacerlo mejor por sí mismos! Hoy estamos celebrando la ceremonia del anillo universitario de la Sra. Pond, lo que indica que ha avanzado a la "clase alta" en su búsqueda de su título universitario. Busy day at the secondary today. Santa stopped by for a visit, Ms. Kelso's floral design class is making wreaths, and Ms. Evan's 8th grade class is learning about reflection!

Good morning. Moments ago Goodrich ISD received this notification from the Texas Education Agency's Chief Safety Officer regarding an apparent hoax that is being sent out to several Texas school districts. Goodrich ISD has not received any such email messages to this effect, but we wanted to advise parents of this TEA communication. As always, the safety of our students is a top priority. Thank you. "Good morning,  Many districts statewide have received emails containing bomb threats that appear to originate from Russia...and the emails appear to be a hoax. We will provide additional information as it becomes available. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.  John P. It was fun watching middle school students in Mr. Bett's art class today learning about "blocking" to help get the proportions right when sketching scenes. Also great to see a high school student assisting with the students.

Congratulations to Hannah Kelso. She is the staff of the month for Goodrich Secondary. She and her students have done a fantastic job organizing the AG building. FFA students have had the opportunity to compete in LDE's as well. Keep up the great work!!
